1st SYNS Neuro-Endoscopy Course

The first SYNS Neuro-endoscopy Course ever!

Hybrid cadaver & model course on cranial and spinal neuroendoscopy!

This year we offer another "first-timer" about cranial and spinal neuroendoscopy, which will take place on September 7-8th 2023 at the Anatomical Institute in Basel. The trainees will have the opportunity to train their skills performing cranial (on the first day) & spinal (on the second day) basic endoscopic procedures on cadaver and models. The subscription fee of 650.- Swiss francs includes the use of all workshop material as well as the social dinner. Places are limited to 10 participants for the first day (cranial) and to 12 participants for the second day (spinal)*.

Target Audience: Neurosurgery Residents, Orthopedic Residents interested in Spine surgery (for the second day)

Participants: Places are limited to 10 participants; on day 2 (08.09.) there are 2 extra slots available for 2 orthopedic residents*

Fee: CHF 650.-

Included in the fee: participation in theoretical part and practical hands-on course, material and social dinner on Thursday September 7th.

Registration deadline: 15.08.2023

Cancellation policy: Cancellation up to 2 weeks prior to event, full refund. Cancellation up to 1 week prior to event, 50% refund. Cancellation within 1 week prior to event, no refund.

NOTE: the full course attendance will provide the participants with CME Credits from the Swiss Society of Neurosurgery (SGNC) and from Swiss Orthopaedics (SO) for the attendance on the second day

* The 2 trainees who will attend the course only on day two will pay only 325.- CHF fee.
