By continuing our support of young neurosurgeons in science, we are happy to announce that a special `Science Slam Bypass 2020` edition will be organized by the Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Zurich. We will celebrate our honoured guest, Professor Yasargil, and his milestone achievement of performing the world`s first EC-IC bypass in 1967 at the University Hospital Zurich.

This event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 9 January 2020 at the Bypass 2020 – Anniversary Symposium in Zurich, Switzerland and is sponsored by the Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Zurich

The characteristic of the Science Slam Bypass 2020 is that the candidates present their original work in a generally understandable and entertaining way. The quality of the scientific work as well as the degree of entertainment provided shall be valued equally.

The champion will win a travel grant of CHF 1500.-, allowing him or her to attend a scientific meeting of their choice.
